This course provides an introduction to the use of computer-assisted language learning (CALL) technologies in language teaching, learning, and research. It covers a wide range of topics, including:
The different types of CALL tools and their applications
The benefits and challenges of using CALL in language learning
How to design and develop effective CALL materials
How to use CALL to assess language learning
The ethical considerations of using CALL
The course also explores the use of AI tools in language learning, such as chatbots, virtual tutors, and machine translation. Students will learn how to use these tools to improve their language learning skills and to create more personalized and engaging learning experiences.
